Rig is tuned. Boom is up. Wind instrument is affixed to the top of the mast. Windex/wind fly is aligned. Shackles at the top are safety wired. PSS shaft seal has been adjusted and just needs set screws added. Engine mounts are tightened. Belt has been tightened. Engine has been flushed and is awaiting coolant which should happen shortly.
Auto-helm has an initial setup and is functional. We have depth, charts, and heading. No wind data or radar yet.
REMINDER: On first sail in 15kts of wind close reach check leeward shrouds for tension and notes which ones are tight and loose. Also look up the channel of the mast and see if there are any lateral bends up the mast indicating a shroud is not properly tensioned and report back to Michael.
August 15th May not be doable I was told today. "We'll try." I had thought the commitment had already been made. I need to improve my project management skills.
