I slept moderately well despite going to bed too late. I woke up sans alarm at 08:15.

The aft cabin is nice and cool albeit the AC is quite loud.

I had a nice conversation at the bar with an American Airlines pilot who flew the 777 to Brazil and Argentina regularly. I told sailing stories. They seemed to enjoy it.

Back at the boat. It is crazy muggy out now. The thunderstorm that rolled through seems to have not improved the temperature at all.

Back at Lowes

Found an acceptable hat. They no longer carry the style I like so I'll have to look elsewhere.

Nasty storm rolling in.

Lunch with Stuart was nice. Afterwards he took me to the community pier. I was surprised to see the cranes at Cooper River from so far away.

On the way back, in his golf cart, I saw a warning sign about alligators. They are apparently common in the neighborhood. Nothing my surprise we took the cart to the Big Pond in hopes of seeing one but no joy.

Once they get to be 8 feet long they are relocated.

Forgot again.

It feels like a much longer walk from the boat to hear in this heat.

Back at the boat. Forgot to change vehicles again. This heat just makes me stupid.

BUG: so my thought is if the current vehicle is on foot and the speed goes up beyond walking speed for a settable number of filtered locations to auto select a vehicle from the list of recently used vehicles based on the average speed over the segment.

Decadently, I slept in until 9:30 ...

BUG: I keep forgetting to change the vehicle.

Super slow day. I've been moving slowly trying to clean up the rest of the boat and fix little issues. It's crazy hot outside but the AC eventually caught up. It's just on the border of comfortable in the salon.

I talked to Dana. If timing works out he'd like to crew. That would be awesome.

Alex came by and drilled holes for all the extra mast wiring. Michael is tentatively scheduled to come by on Monday to finish up the wiring.

I have to not forget to ask about the two loose antennas in the aft stateroom locker.
