The fatigue is real. It's been a long time since I've stayed up more than 24 hours straight.
I was pondering once again what a strange thing it is to arrive in a place by airplane. You enter a metal tube and then some short while later you are transported to an entirely different environment. It's almost too easy. There's something missing in this kind of travel.
They just announced that the flight is full and they may force groups 8 and 9 to check their carry on luggage. I'm not sure how that works with the rule that batteries cannot be checked. Fortunately, my bag will fit inder the seat so I should have no issue. 🤞
At my gate with 25 minutes to spare. I did not expect the airport to be this crowded.
The K9 dog was interesting. We were lined up by twos side by side and the dog would be guided to walk in front of and then behind us. Most of the time it seemed to ignore everyone but every now and then it would take a momentary interest in a passenger.
