My watch has started. It's quite hot in the pilot house.

Mark let me adjust the main sail for the first time that I remember.

Captain Mark said, "Over there is the glow of Antigua. How often do you get to say that?"

It went from close to dead calm to winds and waves picking up suddenly.

This is cool. It is so beautiful out here. The moon is too bright to see many stars.

Bright half moon. Little wind at the moment. Sails up. Autohelm on.

Dinner was nice. There's a nice breeze. It's not too hot. I just finished cleaning up the galley. The starboard generator is running and we're running the water maker and dishwasher. In about 2 hours we'll revisit the weather reports to decide whether we're going to make tge night passage.

At first Wayne and Jackie wanted to do tge night sailing manually but I suggested that since this is Jackie's first overnight sail that to lessen the complexity by just focusing on how the boat will be run on a delivery. Full instruments and auto-helm, which should be working now. Everyone seemed to think this was a reasonable plan.

The olan is to set sail at 10pm for the 12 hour passage to St Kitts.

Mark returned and after a little while I started to feel a bit better so I helped him work on the helm which was slipping a bit and making a squealing noise.

Took a much needed shower. I'm slowly starting to feel a bit better. Oof.

The plan, if I haven't mentioned, is to do an overnight sail from Guadaloupe to St Kitts. I'll take my standard midnight watch.
