I'm sitting here sipping a whiskey contemplating movement. My muscles, lower back, and other joints just hurt so there's a low level of pain throughout my carcass even if I don't move, but moving certainly makes it worse at the moment.
With two and a half hours available I'm sure Wayne and Jackie would find something more constructive to do than to just sit.
But as has been the case for so much of this trip I am tired and I burt. But I do remember two days where I was doing exceptionally well. The day after walkjng around Ile Fourchue (sp?) and Tintamare (sp?). It reminds me of something Carrie said. Walking on earthen surfaces hurts so much less than walking of hard surfaces.
There are underlying fears that this lower back pain is a disc or other permanent problem ... but with how it radiates I suspect it's likely muscular. We'll see. If not, it may curtail many of what I hoped to accomplish or at least make it more challenging.
