The Marine Berthing office could not provide change and would not accept any bills with tears.

So we had to walk over to the casino for change.

Whew.

Note: When traveling to the islands bring cash in small denominations because it seems that most ports of entry don't have change.

Also note, they will not accept bills that have any tears.

Clearing in to St Kitts is quite the bureaucratic challenge. Unlike the other islands, all passengers and crew have to appear at immigration in person.

More nope ... tourist trap on our way to immigration.

There seem to be less services here than expected. The original plan was to anchor in White House Bay but there's nothing there. Friggate Bay is closer with a bunch of restaurants and bars but it's supposed to be super touristy.

St Kitts

The waves were sketchy enough that I opted for disgression and found and put up the lee board.

So Mark did relieve me at 02:05 which was a good thing because I was pretty tired.

I must have misunderstood. I thought we were doing 2 hour watches.

Mark and I shook out the reef in the main (just rolled it out) and then pulled out the headsail and furled in the stay sail.

Then because the main leech was flapping Mark used the boom vang to lower the boom to tighten the sail. We're now moving along at as much as 8.8kts.

Another three degrees to starboard 332 @ 01:04.

Corrected course to 329 because we were .5NM off course.
