Lost all wind. Doused the spinnaker and started the starboard engine.

A whale just surfaced near the boat!

We just passed Tabasco

Tabasco sighted ... planning to run the spinnaker ...

Tabasco is not visible on the chartplotter ir MarineTraffic.

Jets flying overhead. Wayne thinks ge saw dolphins.

We just shut down the starboard engine.

Now all we see is part of her sail.

The weather suddenly changed and it got dramatically warmer. Coats and gloves off. Tabasco is barely visible on the horizon.
I saw a couple of Osprey rotary aircraft fly by a while ago.

We put the sail up and rigged a preventer just as the wind died. Tabasco is already ahead.

I cranked the sail up by hand so I wiuld oniw what it felt like. Dana also let me work thr traveler and mainsheet.

We sailed past a warship as it was being pushed into dock. We also got passed bu another huge container ship.

The app stopped tracking.

Wayne's AIS beacon is not showing up on the chart plotter and I'm not sure why.

Up half an hour later than intended but I needed the sleep. Tired. It's quite cold and cloudy outside but it looks like the rain has stopped.

Tired. Calling it a night. The alarm is set for 6am.

Things got exciting for a bit as we dragged anchor and something got caught on the sail drives. I could feel it in the steering and in forward nothing was happening.

Despite the nice weather window we are
wxpected to run into some chop at some point.

Dinner. Belina and Richard joined us.

I cleaned up the shackle pin threads, installed it, and safety wired it.

The tack shackle was on the verge of falling off.

We're going to meet Richard and Belina for dinner at 7.
