Back underway at 08:30. I tried to be more thorough and took away a lot of material but I suspect I may have just overtightened it.

Belt failed again.

Wayne has been working tirelessly polishing the boat.

Well that was a royal contortionist pain in the ass. It looks like they epoxied or somehow glued the hose on the barb. The barb is corroded onto the fitting so I spent an hour contorted scraping it off. What a pain. I'll get proper ziptie mounts to out everything back where it was, correctly this time.

As of now the water system is operational again.

NOTE: The foreward holding tank is 77l and the aft is 60l. (approx 20 gallons and 15 gallons)

Upon closer inspection the line that failed was a harry homeowner unreinforced line ... the proper water lines look intact.

Found the leak. A water line in the foreward shower had failed.

This raises the spectre that all the fresh water
hoses may need to be replaced which is a huge job. Failures seem to happen at joints.

Fuel: 41.55 gallons 1.06 gal/hr estimated. The hour meter hasn't been fixed yet.

Both holding tanks were too full. Wayne is working on the nasty stain left when it overflowed the vent. Yuck.

Wayne willed the water tanks and the next thing I know the bilge oump ran for the first time. Somewhere there is a significant water leak. I think a fresh water hose failed somewhere. Tracking it down is next on the todo list.

We made short work of putting all the provisions away. We're just having light snacks on the boat instead of going out to dinner.

Old school blues is on the stereo. It's comfortable here just sipping some wine ...

The boat is almost ship shape. We'll do some projects tomorrow.
