Breakfast here was surprisingly good today.

A Facebook friend gave me the title "Yermo the Unready" which I kind of like.

There's so many last minute things to do before the boat can leave the dock that I'm concerned it'll be late afternoon before we get out ... thunderstorm risk.

We'meeting Michael and Rebecca for dinner at 7 so we decided to spend tonight at the hotel I had reserved as a backup. So we probably need to be back at the dock at 5:15 or so ...

I'm curious to see the boat. I don't remember if I mentioned but Michael thinks the bimini might be too high and may interfere with the boom under some conditions, which would suck. He says it turned out really nice. That old bimini was such a non-starter and I'm so glad it's gone.

I did not sleep well.Pnce again I was wide awake after only four hours. I'm going to be tired today.

On the way down Michael called to say there are a few details to go over tomorrow and then said, "I'm going to try to talk you into leaving the boat here and then sailing to the Bahamas. Looking at this boat, you're so ready to go." 😁

It's stupid money but these rooms at the Marriot are very nice.

It feels like I've spent more time in traffic than properly underway. It let up a bit a while ago.

I keep thinking about Andy's comment on long distance running: drink before you are thirsty. Eat before you are hungry.

To that I add "Stop before you need to."

There is such a contrast here between all the normal businesses one sees and some of the just abject poverty. Depressing.

Traffic down to just before here was quite heavy. Lots of stop and go.
