The Encore coffee grinder is not working. I'm going to need to disassemble it and figure out if it's clogged. My guess is the left over grinds clp together in the marine environment.

REMINDER: get silicone fork for frying

Up at 07:30. The wind is howling through the rig. Sun is rising.

Much to our dismay we determined the settee is not designed to turn into a berth after all ... shocking. This throws a wrench in the works. It was an assumption but I have never been aboard a boat where that was not something that had been thought of.

Critter

There's a pretty massive leak at the forward stateroom hatch. I think I see where it's coming from. It looks like it just needs to be lifted, cleaned, and resealed. With how much it is leaking, I'm going to have to do it this week.

It may be so much worse now because the rig is properly tensioned. There's an intermediate forestay deck fitting just aft of the forward hatch. We resealed that time before last and there was no evidence of water intrusion there.

Pretty heavy thunder boomer rolling through.

We spent the day with Michael and Alex on board working away. Michael figured out the electronic compass is too close to the keel and he also fixed all the issues with the chart plotter and auto-helm. He even tensioned the rig and we learned the headsail halyard was way too loose.

The life lines have been pulled and Michael is having a new set made.

We went through the final punch list of tweaks and improvements. It looks like we're in good shape.

I must have eaten something off diet last night. Ouch. That sucked. No wonder I'm feeling so rough today.

Up at 08:00 but damn I'm wiped out from yesterday.

Docked. Less than stellar. I need a ton of practice.
