Another hot low energy day. Mark sent me out for beer. Dougy and Davis have been here for hours trying to get tge water maker up and running.

I had not eaten anything so made myself a mess of cheesy eggs. The galley gets hot quick. As I keep saying, I need to step up my cooking game.

Shortly after I got up we raised anchor and headed out for Phillipsburg. I again made some mistakes pulling out the headsail. I don't know what it is about this vessel that overwhelms my senses and thinking so much.

We got word that Dougy (sp?) was ready to meet us at noon with a replacement water intake pump for the water maker so we tacked and headed back in. We initially intended to sail up to anchor but ended up having to start the drive engine after all. It woyldn't start initially. Mark flipped the switch to bring in the house batteries and it fired up. It looks like the start battery, which is new, has failed.

I really huet tonight. I was super tired all day and then in the evening my joints started lighting up something fierce. My left forearm is intermittently in serious pain.

Ouch.

Mark and I had a nice dinner at the Dinghy Dock Bar and talked to the bartender Rosie for quite some time.

We've moved Tabasco out into Simpson Bay. I piloted it out through the opened drawbridge. There is quite a delay between shifting the gear shift selector and it taking effective.

Peter, Veronica's husband, is here installing the new high pressure pump for the watwr maker. He's an impressive jack of all trades. Underwater welder, pilot, etc.

Talking about a superyacht named Skyfall that had a 17" hole in it he said, "Your mayday is my payday."

I fueled up the dinghy. The gas stationtold me they had teo stroke oil but did not so I went to a second gas station. Very strange place on the french side.

When I got back Mark informed me the genset start battery was showing 0. I crawled into the engine compartment and confirmed it with a volt meter. He asked me to get the dinghy battery so we could try to jump the genset. It's a small battery so I was skeptical but it worked and the genset is now running but we do not know what drew down the battery.

Dropped Baz the AC guy off at his shop. Mark has asked me to do a garbage run which I will do shortly after finishing my coffee.

I have concluded I've been in the lagoon long enough. Fortunately, we should be moving out to Simpson Bay later today.

Sailboats are only good for me when they are moving.

Since I think the day before yesterday, the app has been crashing pretty often. I suspect memoru usage, possibly with how I'm loading photos.

I woke up around 09:45, tooke a shower, and am now sirting in the cockpit as is customary. It's bright, sunny, and quite warm.

My back still hurts.

Went on a dinghy ride with Mark in search of a rumored used sail on the French side. The level of destruction still visible over there is shocking.

Did some laundry. Helped Mark with some sail measurements.

There's been a lot of rain.

I helped Mark move a couple of very heavy watermaker high pressure pumps onto shore. He's getting a replacement pump tomorrow which should render the water maker operational again.

Woke up at 10. More poor life choices last night.

It doesn't seem as hot today.

At the Dinghy Dock Sailors bar listening to a South African telling tall tales of high seas adventure not unlike the ones we've been on.
