Woke up just after 09:30. Tired.

We had thencharter brokers onboard yesterday. I ran errands and got groceries while Mark cleaned the boat and dinghy.

He then tasked me to make a charcuterie board which I have never done.

It turned out ok.

We aere anchored nezt to this vessel in Bermuda. Small world.

Slept quite late. It's hot again. The visit from the brokers has been delayed to 5:30.

Dinner on shore. My steak order was missed. The bartender took care if it and got me a free drink. I felt bad.

Mark sent me on shore to clear us in. It required meeting a man by a tree and filling out some papers which Mark had to sign so back I went. Unfortunately, customs requires the "master of the vessel" to be present so Mark has left me on anchor watch while he deals with it.

Full (or near full) moon ...

My last watch on this trip is over. The music Mark kindly left on made the five hour watch much easier.

Huh. It is in fact not a full moon and latitude does not affect the phase of the moon contrary to what I thought.

15.8 miles out and now I do think I can make out lights on tge island.

Feminder: look up how full moon varies by latitide ...

There was a tug on a collision course not altering ... so I turned 15deg to avoid it.

I made dinner. Ground beef with onions and egg. It turned out ok. I was going to make stuffed peppers with it but the sole pepper we had was bad.

Correction: it is a boat.

A light that I thought was a boat is actually Antigua. It's mountainous so we can see the top lights despite being 47.6nm away.

Brilliant moon tonight.

We replaces the nav lights. It took a good long time. The boat is rocking in following seas pretty dramatically. There are islands all around.

Shit. Mark just called. The dinghy engine won't turn over. It sounds like it's seized. I put 50 to 1 oil in with the gasoline when I filled it.

Got up at 9 but woke up around 7:30. Tired again.
