We walked down to Front Street to sit outside at The Astwood Arms Fine Food and Ale ... I have never seen as many scooters as I have on the way here.

Long very interesting cab ride around the island to a marine store. Dramatic views, cutouts, and lots of vegotation.

I want to walk down to tge water.

Taking a can rode ocer to Hamilton.

For those that are watching, check the trip map and photos tabs … on the map you now have to open Interactive Map (temporary) the. zoom out and over to Bermuda because there’s an issue I have to fix.

Success! I have the app running inder iOS again. It was an Xcode issue.

Current situation:

We stayed at the White Horse Pub for some hours. WIFI was slow.

The server, who was wonderfully entertaining and charming, hooked us up with enough seating outside. We met Mark who crewed on the leg from Sint Maarten to Bermuda. We talked about the project a bit.

We had a late lunch/early dinner then headed to the boat. Drinks and conversation were had well into the night.

I hope to finalize fixing up my errant laptop so I can deploy the app to the phone and do these updates offline.

Due to weather we will be here until at least Thursday. There’s work to do on the boat which will occupy some of our time. We intend to explore the island a bit and hopefully I’ll be able to get some work done, WIFI permitting.

Just landed in Bermuda.

It looks like an Xcode update on the Macbook Air hung half way through. Trying to update it while I have WIFI.

Through security. Heading to gate.

Almost lost Brooklyn’s chain. It fell out of the crate as it was going through the xray and it just happened to get caught on my glasses … That unsettled me a bit.

Bags checked. Going through security.

iOS finally updated. I’ll try to see if I can get the app installed once I’m on the plane.

It dawns on me there’s a bug in the app that I forgot to tix in my haste. Updates often don’t save in the right order. It’s an easy fix once I get app installs working again.

It’s always something and strangely always seems to happen when I’m trying to leave.

On my way ti the airport. Trying an iPhone update. Some posts mention that updates might fix it. It took forever to update the mac.
