I was so tired I failed to post about the last session "three step out of turn 16". The coach said my line was fine but I was not rolling on the throttle early and consistently enough. So through the session, despite being in quite a bit of pain, I focused on acceleration out of turn 16. These bikes are crazy fast. I came out of 16 in third then shifted to fourth and could feel the front wheel get very light likely coming just slightly off the ground before setting down. Shifting into fifth and continuing to keep the throttle open make the kink in the straight feel like a high hill with a sharp corner. It was disconcerting. On I believe it was the third lap, I was set up on my line and passed a slower rider on the right as I made my way to curbing at the kink. I'm not sure of the sequence of events but suddenly there was a rider to my right closer than I suspect he should have been passing me on the inside. I got off my line at 140mph+ to avoid hitting him and moved too far to the left where I came closer to the slower rider than I had intended. A coach rode up next to me waving me on ahead and shaking his head. I thought I had done something wrong but when I asked the consensus was that the overtaking rider on the inside had made the error.
Subsequent runs were better but I was quite tentative about traffic.
After that the day was over. I talked to the coach, Mike, and after a survey and some goodbyes Ryan and I headed to the car and made our way home. I hadn't realized it but I had apparently poisoned myself possibly as a result of the electrolyte drink they had there. I should have known better but I was in pretty bad and worsening shape as we made the trip home.
