It hasn't't been as hot as I had feared it would be. Generally traffic has been moving pretty well.

Stopped to get some water and gas up. I thought I was off track but I had gone around the last town instead of straight but all good.

This ride is now underway.

It's a very weird feeling knowing that buffalo will not be following my progress. There's a deep sense of alone that pervades me. 

All packed. Electronics charged. (almost forgot the sena). 

The quantity of electronics I carry with me is kind of nuts. 

I slept under 6 hours which usually sets me up for failure, but I'm not feeling too bad. It's going to be crazy hot today but after that should cool down to acceptable temperatures especially as I make my way North.
