It's a short tunnel but quite dramatic. Very dark especially if you forget to remove your sunglasses.

15:37 ... after about 47 minutes of slab at speed that muscle around my left shoulder blade has started hurting in earnest. Extremely sharp stabbing pains depending on how I move my head, but it is not yet locked up.

The roads today were quite curvey, twisty, and mountainous but they were all major traveling roads and lined with small houses and businesses. Trucks here do not stay in their lane.

I nearly got taken out by a deer that fell almost in front of me as it was trying to avoid a collision.
