Bummer. My adventure camera flaked out and did not geotag any photos.

I swear I need to add a checklist of things to verify before leaving on a ride.

Starts out ugly with McMansions then turns into a two lane double yellow good pavement oleasant farm country road.

I need to find an alternate route East. While 50 has some good sections it's just too built up. Avoid riding through Romney.

Also, ponder having the option to have road tags that don't have a style so we can then have some quick screens to describe a road such as "2-lane-yellow broken-pavement valley" or some such.

Wonderful valley two lane road. Perfect pavement. Last section was double yellow. Vistas. Some sections climb up to run along tidges. Some switchbacks. Some forested sections. Farms. Stream access. Few houses.

I will ride this again.

It goes narrower here

Trough Toad is anvery nice gentle valley road with perfect pavement. There's one wooded climb with a few twisties. Just an all around oleasant ride.

Stopped here at Sheetz some time ago. Some largely toothless very old local started talking to me ... very slowly ... with ... long ... pauses.

I learned he was only three years older than I am. He looked easily 80.

Heading homeward now. No place to sit here so I sat on the curb, had a snack, a cup of coffee, and some water.

Uploading tracks /took forever/. Also, I really need to add road quality buttons even if initially they can't be esited.

Fantastic long mountain ridge 1.5 car widths road. Technical, teisty with steep grade changes and switchbacks.

Few sections of houses. Occassional oncoming traffic. Gravel/chip seal in some corners.

Deep forest, steep dropoffs and ravines. Views.

Saw a group of BMW riders heading in the opposite direction.

Best road of the day so far.

Saw one deer in the road.

Perfect pavement. Double yellow wide ridge road that is technical, tight, and twisty.

Almost got taken out by a stretch of chipseal in a corner while I was messing with the camera. Otherwise this road was perfectly clean.

It goes on to the left but I am going to check out this little road to the right.

Forgot to mention nearly got taken out by a fawn.

Nice little open vally driveway road. Short but a nice slow diversion.

The pass on 33 is just wonderful. Smooth pavement. Excellent corners. Many turnouts (if only slow drivers would use them). Duncan would love it.

Reeds Creek Road to here starts out with driveway sized moderately rough pavement and then goes to a mix of dirt and gravel, deep in some places. When wet the dirt sections are likely very slippery. Some sections are moderately challenging. Nice ADV mountain forest road. Not recommended for bike bikes.

Bummer. It was not tracking.

A proper very pretty little mountain forest road that follows a creek. There are sparse clumps of houses and a few larger animal husbandry operations. It just loops back to 220 but makes for a pleasant diversion. It's much longer than expected.

There's an off shoot towards 33 so might make for a nice way to avoid more of 220 if that's the goal.

Saw two deer and one very large black snake.

I just passed a road called Reeds Creek Road. Looks like it might be a nice loop. Am going to check it out.

I always misremember 33 between Brandywine and Franklin. I keep thinking it's four lane when it is in fact a nice fast curvy mountain road with some nice sweepers.

There's extended LTE signal here.

Gas stop:

I was behind a group of two SUB's and a car going at a good clip through the forest, but of course as soon as we hit the twisties they slowed to a crawl. The SUV's pulled off at the overlook. The little car went through the rest at a reasonable pace.

I was trailed by three scramblers at a distance. I'm assuming new riders.

You see BDR bikes here.

Finally getting under way. Feeling very slow today. I think I was allergic to the room. I woke up all seollen which hasn't happened in ages.

Heading back out 33 to do a big loop.
