it's time for me to get off the 890 and on to the 500. Ash and I are taking turns riding the small bike as it's fairly uncomfortable at speed on the highway. My turn next.

and there it is. we are done with the Colorado BDR. we stopped just outside of Dolores for lunch at a Mexican restaurant Montezuma's.

easy, hard, easy, hard. making our way through the forest. The higher you go, the rockier it gets. .

this morning started out really easy with some nice grated roads after we came out of Telluride winding through the woods and that went on for quite a while. then we detoured up onto a smaller Forest road and started climbing and it's been pretty rocky and redded and I decided to go through a big water. crossing see how deep it was and came out. just head to toe covered in mud so that was kind of fun. we've stopped for a break and I can find a clean my my visor so I can see where I'm going again. it's been hoot to just ride through in and out of the shadows and the ruts and the rocks and not really see anything.
