Having a good sit.Found a decent route to get around Harrisonburg. VA 631

Now sitting at the traditional Starbucks waiting for DC traffic to die down before making the final 90 mile slab run home.

My right shoulder doesn’t hurt so I suspect I did not injure it but I now definitely have the yips about gravel again. I’m trying to wirk through it.

We’re continuing to stay more or less on schedule. I’m diverting us into other roads when I know better ways that still keep us to the GPS track. We’ll still have to burn some miles on the highway now and then. 

Needing to refuel, we went into Lewisburg, WV and have stopped for a snack at The Humble Tomato. It’s next to the Mexican restaurant we ate at last trip. 

Gas stop.

Found some good roads. Shanghai and the following one are quite good.

Sadly, I had my second ever off when I tucked the front in some gravel while trying to figure out what the GPS was indicating and watching for traffic behind me. The gear worked. The bike is ok. It was probably less than 10mph when I tucked it. Bummer, man.

A break in Monterey. Making good time, nice roads, little traffic. 

Working our way south.  Pretty country but looking forward to getting back on smaller roads. 

jackie4737 has pulled the sidestand up and is underway.

pre-emptive gas stop. We’ll see how my shoulder holds up today.
