Short little "power of left" ride as the sun set. The Roadcrafters were, while we were getting ready, too hot but as soon as we got moving it became clear they were the right choice. We also had electric vests and fleeces on.
We stopped at the Brighton Dam stop to plugs the vests in.
Once we turned onto MD 97 South it started to rain. We came upon a guy on some 600ish Japanese bike with four ways on who was just riding way too slowly. He would slow down dramatically each time a car would pass. In the one sharp turn on 650 he nearly came to a stop. At a traffic light I rolled up and asked him if he was ok and he indicated he was so we took the opportunity to get around him. The rain picked up. My Roadcrafter is definitely not waterproof but I didn't get too wet by the time I got home.
In a little bit I plan to work on the valve cover for the R1100S so that I can have that bike back to operational by tomorrow.
