The weather South and West is looking pretty iffy.

buffalo is going on K Bike (2009 BMW K1300S).

New clutch with the extended hub and temp/oil resistent friction plate is installed. The transmission is now bolted on. Progress is slow but steady.

As I've mentioned, the sheathing around the wiring harness on the R1100S had completely disintegrated. I posted a question to the BMW MOA group on Facebook and it was suggested to use a high quality cloth tape followed by wrapping it in a plastic mesh sheathing. The result turned out fairly well. Hopefully I haven't caused any new problems but I strongly suspect this really needed to be done. It would only have a been a matter of time before the exposed wiring insulation would fail.
