Cut down the arms on the sunglasses. They started hurting in earnest. They dig into the sides of my head due to the arms being curved. Ouch.

The plan is to ride the Moki Dugway downhill today. The ABS on Bruce's bike cannot be turned off so we'll have to be careful. It's a 1200 ft drop with switchback of gravel.

Man the heat from the engine is the most challenging thing. Without that, this would beostly tolerable. The R1100Sade a better hot weather bike.

The tar snakes on the road towards Canyonlands were no joke. They were pervasive enough to cause us to slip a bit many many times.

I really like this Holiday Inn Express. We sat out on the balcony overlooking the river and watched the kayakers and rafters float by. The crows and I'm guessing magpies? we're chasing each other. It's cool but is going to be crazy hot by the time we roll into Grand Junction.

I got a workout in last night and am making an effort to fold in mobility work in the mornings. That muscle next to my left shoulder blade continues to be a real problem. I'm making the effort to take it all more seriously.

Beautiful rugged arid countryside. 550 here is a big fast road but with much fewer tractor trailers than the super slab. It's quite warm. My shoulder/back is bugging me quite a bit
