Rick on his Hayabusa stopped to chat so it was a longer stop bHe had been rear ended and used the settlement money to buy his bike. First rider I've encountered since Los Alamos.

Did not sleep enough. I'm in one time zone over. My shoulders and back hurts a bit which is disconcerting. The plan today is to stop every 75 miles regardless.

That last 160 mile stretch really hurt. Most painful section of the trip so far. There was this strange fog, mist, drizzle that made seeing through the constant stream of blinding oncoming headlights. Challenging and stressful.
