This was a really compelling ride through quite a few forest service roads.
Woodstock Tower Road is open. The tower there is a short walk and the view is so worth it.
Other notable roads: Crisman Hollow Road (FR724) which is a long easy largely straight tree tunnel road, Little Dry River Road (SR 818), Rough Run Road which is a little rough with six water crossings but all were largely dry this time through, West Side Road which is really nice, Dunkle Hollow Road (FR 227) which verges on a jeep trail, Reddish Knob Forest Road which is now covered in crazy deep gravel 0 stars, Shenandoah Mountain Road another favorite, and Long Run Road (FR72) which had signs up that it was closed but it went through. It looked to us like maybe they are preparing to turn it into a paved park road maybe?
