John has been doing really well.

66 is a wonderful narrow twisty wooded mountain road unfortunately with some traffic. Some off camber corners with guardrails.

John's leg was cramping up on him so we're taking a short break.

Nice extended break and I feel much better.

Feeling a little less tired. I was just dehydrated.

I am so glad planning the route out this morning worked out ... it's been a really nice ride. The weather is near perfect. It's turned into a coaching ride which is nice. John seems to be enjoying it and it's nice to review what I think I know and see someone else benefit from it.

This road, 606, on the far end heading this way narrow double yellow curvy flowing tree lined hilly, occasional houses, little traffic decent pavement turning into a cery technical twist driveway+ sized switchbacked mountain tree tunnel road what Wayne would call an adventure road.

I like this one.

Spent the morning planning out what should be a very nice semi-circle ride out and back to Staunton. John patiently listened to me go on and on anout my olatform and app ... it should be a good ride.
