All dressed up, and no place to go. Today is a day of waiting. Waiting for the weather window to improve so that we may depart on our journey. I have a small disturbances moving up the coast and it will pass by today with some barely nasty wins and then tomorrow looks like ideal conditions.

We picked up Yermo last night around 830 from the nearby restaurant and a dinner with captain Marc and his crew. It’s good to have him on the boat. Today we have just a few minor chores, we’re waiting on a sale from the sale maker, which is already on the way. We want to top off our propane tanks, and we have one pump for a shower that needs to be installed so it’s not a critical element.

The weather is fairly nice here at the marina this morning, about 47° or so, and that’s fairly pleasant. I was expecting colder. So today it’s just minor chores and really getting more familiar with the boat and its systems to be ready for departure tomorrow morning.
