After MP did the 1000 hour service on my Yanmar 4JH-TE propulsion engine, I noticed that it was smoking considerably more than it had been and that it was consuming much more oil than it had been. 

On recommendations from the Yanmar Marine Engine Owners group I changed the oil from Rotella 15/40 to straight SAE 30. The oil consumption stopped and I mistakenly thought the smoking problem has been resolved. However, it started smoking even worse after another couple outings. 

So I reached out to Diversified Marine to see if they could diagnose the problem.
