That's an important message, though. If you want to do it just because you think it'd be fun. then you need to follow this advice especially carefully.

I agree that when asked about riding the default answer should be "no". Don't do it. Only do it if you feel that you must. If you can't imagine NOT riding, then sign up for the MSF class and proceed. If you're not too sure or just think a little wind in your hair would do you good, then forget it.
