This is a nice day ride out of Dayton, VA over Reddish Knob to Sugar Grove West Virginia, Moyers Gap to US-220 south to Harper, Snowy Mountain Road to Cherry Grove, WV Route 28 to Thornwood, etc. Return via US-250 East to West Augusta, Mt. Solon, and Bridgewater.

Meandering loop through Northern Albemarle County Virginia
Pasture River Roads (Cow and Bull), 1 each
Ride along Bullpasture River and Cowpasture River through Washington and Jefferson National Forrest. Start at I-64, Exit 27 in Clifton Forge, VA and head north on Douthat State Park Road. Left on VA-39, then right on route 629 to McClung to pick up River Road (625) north to McDowell. Head East on US-250 to route 614 (Cowpasture River Road South) and return to Clifton Forge via Milboro Springs and VA-42.

Fulks Run to Oak Flat loop
A nice loop from Fulks Run, VA on Little Dry River Road and Rough Run Road over the mountain to Oak Flat an back across US-33.
NOTE: Little Dry River Road and Rough Run Road to route 3 is gravel forrest road with several water crossings. Easy for dirt bikes. Moderate difficulty on large adventure bikes (challenging with street tires). Would be difficult on street/sport bikes. This section is not recommended for inexperienced riders.
