Home safe. Man the traffic around the Beltway sucked. It took me an hour to go about 20 miles.

Also, on I81, I observed this event where one of the tractor trailers was weaving pretty erratically, enough so I thought he might crash. I'm not sure what was up with him. After a few moments, it calmed down.

it is cold out here. Humid cold.

It rained last night and apparently got really cold. The r1100s does not want to start when cold.

Sitting at a Waffle House now (I can hear Wayne cringe )

Once the sun went down it got proper cold. I made it as far as Wytheville where, yet once again, I got a room at the Quality Inn and walked over to the only bar, an Applebees, which is a 9’30” walk from the hotel. They’ve added a nice sidewalk over the entire length making it easier.

Tomorrow should hopefully be an easy ride home.
