The app continues to be flaky on the Pixel 2. Back to the drawing board.
Today was challenging with the wind and rain. Picking marinas represents a bigger challenge than I understood. There are long expanses of nothing and with this wind staying on the hook, since it's unproven, is ill advised.
I still have to spend a lot of time getting familiar with how this vessel moves. My powerboat experience is getting in the way.
Dana really wrenched his back while we were trying to tie up the boat. He's in a lot of pain.
After talking about it due to the lack of marinas we're likely going to have a relatively short 40 some odd mile day.
This is going to take forever.

Not sure why but it's just tracking on the Pixel 2.
It might be because of WIFI ...
My shift is over. I had to wait at Wrightsville Beach Bridge for 25 minutes because they only open on the hour and then had to run at maximum speed to just barely make the Figure 8 Island swing bridge. Then we hit some squals with some proper rain and gusts up to about 30.
I ran the radar and that let me know I needed to close the hatch stat.

Weird. The app is really flaking out on the Pixel 2 to a degree I have never seen before.
We're coming up to a swing bridges which only opens on the hour so we have rolled the throttle back to lessen the time we spend circling in front of the bridge. It'll be my turn at the helm so I'll take the opportunity to practice.
