Sadly the app on the Pixel 6 has run into some issue that’s now preventing it from running. I’m guessing and iut of memory error. Brilliantly I just realized I should switch to one of the other devices and continue.

We got away from the dock at 11:30 and are heading to Osprey Marina near Myrtle Beach where Terry unfortunately has to catch a flight home because he has commitments. It’s sad because we really only got to sail the boat for a short while.

Precious few photos from today because the Pixel was dead for much of it.

We went out to confirm what OredictWind was telling us and as predicted we've had 20+ kts on the nose towards our destination.

So it was decided to motor up the ditch.bI didn't realize how much I had learned from my time with Wayne. The channel markers are different and since I've done it before I was able to direct us to avoid all kinds of issues. The Bob423 tracks and coast guard depth surveys in AquaMaps make all the difference.

Too lumpy and the wind is coming exactly where we want to go.

We hit a huge wake wave and suddenly an alarm went off. It took a while to figure out that it was a high water alarm.

Then when we tightened the mainsheet and it hit the bimini. It took a bit to raise the boom.

Last minute problems and the fact that I dropped Dana's diamond ring in the engine.

Nav lights fixed. Pins added to sta-locks. Secured settee bench, had breakfast, showed neighbor Paul the boat, got everything stowed, ... wind is against us so we're going to head out for a bit and see.

I find when surrounded by so many people trying to coordinate tasks and schedules that I just don't post progress notes the way I would like.

I am very tired so this will be short

Aside from a few pins and securing the settee bench and putting on some registration stickers the boat is ready to go. Lots of wind is predicted for tomorrow.

All systems are operational and despite FedEx declaring the life raft was lost it arrived and fits perfectly in the aft lazarette with plenty of space to spare. We went for an short sail with Michael where he tested the fixes to the compass and auto helm and evaluated the rig and gave me a little education about sail trimband mast setup.

We went on a provisioning run. I tools the guys out to dinner and for the first time we satband had drinks at Wayne's cockpit table ... it's just beautiful.

The boat has gotten glowing reviews from all .

tomorrow morning after finishing final details we leave.
