I walked around the corner at the Gap motel when I was surprised and shouted, "Holy Sh*t! A Bear!". I could see on the bear's face that he was thinking "Holy Sh*t! A human!!" as he sprinted away.
There is actually a black bear in this photo just past the left edge of the left most branch. Really. There's a bear. Well, a juvenile bear. A bearlet really.
