Ian (at right) with his brand new Izh "Planet 5" with sidecar, Moscow 1991. It's a 2-stroke single-cylinder 350 that you may recognize from the Long Way Round show. Back in the Soviet days you had to go through back channels to get a brand new bike. Got one for my friend Scott, too. I wonder if he still has his. After some fun adventures, mine was eventually stolen. Found this photo the other day as I was going through some old boxes, thought I'd scan it and share.
