So I didn't get to see the Badlands last year. After talking to Bruce this evening, I think in April or May I'm going to finish that trip after a visit.
While I lost the GPS tracks from my big trip when my GPS failed, this is an approximation of the route. I'm missing many of the smaller roads along the way.

A two day ride along some of the best roads we've encountered within a day ride from Washington DC. The roads of West Virginia are something to be seen.
Route 50 From Winchester Virginia to Grafton West Virginia is a very nice road with scenic vistas, alternating sweepers and twisties. All in all a good days ride. The overlook (tagged with a marker) is especially nice.

My travelling companions bike failed in the desert outside of Spokane, Washington. Through some towing mishaps, my machine was set up to fail some couple thousand miles later in the Montana desert.
