Until I have better ways of keeping lists of things on the site (under profiles probably), I'm creating this thread as a place to keep links to various special tools because I'm endlessly forgetting where I got XYZ tool.

In Knoxville at Huey's Cycle Service, Ed showed me an electronic throttle body sync tool made by a company Kuwa Seito out of Japan.
I have not yet been able to find a source for one. Searching around today, I came across a couple of interesting projects where people have constructed their own digital syncing tools:

Of all the tools I have ever owned, this has been by far the most useful. It's much more industrial strength than the corresponding leathermans and can be used to do some real work. It's saved the day on more than one occasion.

I just wanted to share my experiences with the K&N oil filters. You know, the ones with the nut on the bottom, that are available on Amazon.com. Well, as you may have guessed: the nuts break off. And, you're left with a difficult filter extraction. They are a "Do not buy " recommendation.
