    Not quite what you asked for: but, my least favorite gloves are my Aerostitch Touch-Screen Elkskin Ropers. The touch screen aspect really doesn't work, and they have developed an uncomfortable fold right across the heal of my hand - right at the pressure point.

    That's good to know. I had pondered trying those gloves on a number of occasions but their lack of armor was a show stopper for me.

    My favorites were a pair of Alpinestars that they don't make anymore. I may go REV'IT or Alpinestars next. I also have a gloves for cold weather, off road, and wet but wear the GPX the most.

    *edit* because I forgot to answer the "why"...

    I like full gauntlets for most conditions. I look for smooth internal seams and stiching for comfort, quality contruction in the palm and palm to thumb interfaces, double layers in contact areas, and hard armor in bone contact areas (like knuckles). I like good venting in gloves as well so I like top vents. I also like that there are multiple adjustment areas in the wrist and gauntlet. The GPX 2 have great protection and very good build quality. There is substantial armor and the internal construction is very comfortable. I have wide palms and these also accommodate that without having excessive finger length. They took a little bit to break in but are now supremely comfy for what they are.

    I just ordered my fifth pair of Revit gloves.  They haven't come in yet but they are the SLR model.

    Obviously I've been very happy with the Revit gloves.  The SLR will be suitable for the track should I ever get the jones to do that.  On the street they will offer up very good protection but the reason I've not ordered them previously is I'm concerned about heat.  Although called a summer glove, they get dinged in reviews for not having enough venting.  I may up using them as a cooler weather glove.

    Held Air Hero. Super thin kangaroo (to which I've added Any Glove, so they work with touchscreens). Cuff to fasten. Air intakes and mesh, but with a thin wool liner they're three-season, and the thin palm works well with heated grips.

    It's hard to go back to winter gloves after the feel and the fit of these.

    Long gauntlet covers jacket sleeves.
    Very soft, comfortable leather.
    Good insulation, so I can use these gloves year-round and not have to wear bulky winter gloves, a huge bonus.  Wearing overly bulky gloves in winter affects your ability to use your handlebar controls.
    Good looks.
    Good velcro cinches at the wrist.

    They're pricey, but way better than the many gloves I have purchased for half the price that I used for less than half as long.  I've had mine for five years now.

    +1 For the Lee Parks PCI. I have a least a dozen pairs of gloves but, unless it is raining, these are on my hands.

    Just a great glove with very thin Phase Change Insulation that is good down to about 35-degrees in full wind (with heated grips).

    I'll tell you how much I like these, I will order another pair this to replace my 7 year old pair. Now THAT is saying something for me!

    They were the right gloves for the money (about $30) when I was just starting out.  They've got enough protection, but the attention to detail just isn't there.  After some minor alterations they feel like they match, in size.  I also prefer a bit of a longer gauntlet than they offer, since my sleeves ride up a bit.  They're not cold-weather gloves, either.

    I can't wait to try them out.  
    I have to buy men's gloves, for my long fingers, but these don't feel like they've got too much extra width to them, like some of the others I've tried on.  They've got a nice inner layer, without uncomfortable seams, and they seem quite comfortable and warm, with nice long gauntlets.  I'll review them once I've gotten some use out of them.

    Another fan of Lee Parks Design checking in.  They are great. 

     In addition, I had the exact same problem with the Aerostich Elkskin Ropers that John St John reported- a fold in the leather on the palm ruins control feel completely for me.
