One major and a few minor bug fixes and tweaks. 

There was a nasty bug that would cause dialogs to really slow down after a few loads:

If you notice any new problems (i.e. something that was working before but now isn't) please let me know.
I've been working on maps and have been addressing those few bugs that are needed to get maps done.
Once maps are up and we're starting to use them I'll go through the bug list in earnest and clean things up.
