The vast majority of the horrific accidents here were entirely avoidable. 

 

Man, that is utterly brutal.  I didn't make it very far in before stopping, but I'm sure some of these were fatal accidents.For one thing, compared to Russia, we enjoy a relatively "mature" driving environment with fairly well developed traffic control systems and rules of the road that the vast majority of drivers and riders adhere to.  We can be thankful for the fact that the greatest danger we may face in day to day riding is the dreaded "left-turner".And for another, the value in not riding like it's a video game cannot be overstated.  ATGATT.

yea. I think everyone should watch that video. It's sobering.
