I will rue the day I took a look at Milner's Klim Badlands suit. I've looked at a bunch of gear but nothing really seemed sturdy enough to me.
This, however, did.

Klim is potentially the BEST adventure gear in the world. For me it just doesn't pass the "cost to replace" test. That is, the gear I have is fine and takes much abuse. If it gets ruined...really ruined...it is cheaper to replace entirely. Since I'm not planning on going to remote distant countries, yet, I'm not thinking about needing a suit that I can be in for 6 months or more at a time. If I were in fact thinking of a trip that long or that remote I would buy Klim without so much as a second thought.

FYI... For the TAT and for general banging around I'm only thinking of getting a new pair of pants. I'm thinking MX pants and maybe a couple of MX shirts with external armor for when it's super hot.
