1 of 8 Blasphemy, I know, but I have been recently thinking if I get a trailer hitch and motorcycle trailer, it's going to make picking up whatever bike I decide to buy much easier.
It'll also make it easier for me to do Track Days as I'd be able to bring my own canopy.
Hmmmm.
2 of 8 there have been 2 dr650's listed on craigslist in the last couple days not exactly close but in driving range
2011
2008
3 of 8 There are a couple listed just north of Baltimore that I may go look at.
My feeling is that it's going to be a DR650 after all.
4 of 8 if you find something you like old blue is still available to haul it back.
5 of 8 Does it still have the cap on it?
6 of 8 My trailer is of course available to you if you find a bike before you have your own. It has a 1k pound capacity (it's carried my old GoldWing).
7 of 8 ya, the ugly white cap is still on it.
it takes about 4 people to lift it off due to its weight. not real handy
since the DR is a light bike under 400LBS
they do have receiver hitch cycle carriers.
alternative to a trailer but won't work for heavier bikes.
I also have that aluminum ramp for loading that came with the GS500.
I'm not a fan of duncans trailer. that one time up to bobs for the 1100s was a pain in the a$$ - I'd rather spend the time removing the cap than deal with that trailer.
I did like the trailer ryan had because it was setup correctly for bikes.
