Had a really good ride today with Duncan. We headed back up to the roads north of Olney. It was just a strangely good day for a ride despite overcast cool/cold drizzly conditions ...

Indeed. It's all too easy to miss good, local roads that little more than a stone's throw away from home.

Rain was light and mostly hit or miss sprinkles, enough to make roads pretty slippery in some places, but not unrideable.

Electric gear made things quite comfortable (at least after some of us remembered to close our jacket vents )

All in all, you can beat an unexpected day of December riding
