After years of pondering it, I finally decided to take the plunge on an Aerostich Roadcrafter one piece riding suit. Apparently I'm not alone in this extended pondering. Reading the reviews reveals that people often say they waited years to pull the trigger. Obviously the cost is a major contributing factor.

I may have to sell one or both of my kids for medical experiments in order to cover the price of this suit!

Sadly the size/color I ordered is back-ordered and I have been notified that I will be waiting 6 weeks.

Kind of annoyed that they make you buy that separately...kind of a dick move if you ask me. And pay shipping...wtf?

Oh well, hopefully this is a many, many year investment.

After you've had a little experience with it you should consider writing up a short review.

Got the suit yesterday...and boxed it up to send back today. Unfortunately it is too small. I originally ordered a 42 regular and it is wicked tight. I've reordered at size 44 long and I sincerely hope it fits. If not, I guess we punt. LOVE the quality of the thing though. Definitely worth the money if you can get the right size.

Don't forget that they have a bunch of alteration options.

Finally getting around to posting a pic of the suit.  This was a torrential rain I rode home in.  Never got a drop on me inside the suit.  I called home from the road with my Sena headset and my daughter Emma came out and took the pictures.

Yeah, can't seem to get the pictures to load into the post.

What browser are you using? Are you getting any errors?

When I go to insert photo, there is a pull down that has "none selected" and "MBM album".  There is no option for adding to the post.  Therefore I can only upload to the MBM album.

ahh....yes. I've just been using the MbM album.

Select the M-BY-MC album as you have been.


After you select UPLOAD ALL you'll see each photo listed.

Next to each photo is an INSERT button which will let you insert the photo in the post.

I'm thinking I'll change that, time permitting, so that it automatically inserts the photos into the post.

Didn't work.  Puts it in the MbM album.
