So dad got me a pair of these for my birthday and i figured id give you the two week update/ review. This review is a little biased as i am coming off of three years of riding with just hiking boots, but i have to say i am really impressed. I have ridden about 800 miles in the boots and they are incredible. They are very lightweight, super easy on and off, and very comfortable for walking around in. As for waterproofing, i have ridden in rain but nothing torrential yet and so far so good. The heat: These boots are amazing when it comes to warm weather riding. I rode about 200 miles last saturday in 85+ temps and i didnt even notice the boots. My head, my chest and legs were hot, but never my feet. Gore-tex is amazing stuff. If you dont have a commuting boot or are riding with hiking boots still ( DAD) you should get a pair. Overall review, two thumbs up!

My biggest complaint, actually only complaint, about the GoreTex Puma boots I got is how terribly hot they are. They don't breathe at all.

It's interesting to hear that the Sidi's do. I'm considering picking up some kind of air-flow boots for middle of the summer riding.
