You may have heard by now that a Harley from Japan washed up on the shore of a BC island. It was in a container lined with styrofoam, which kept everything afloat for the better part of a year after getting swept out to sea as a result of the tsunami.

The bike has been delivered to the local Victoria Harley dealer, which is next door to my friend's Triumph/Ducati/Suzuki dealership. If you're wondering what a bike looks like after a year at sea, check out the pics:

As a follow-up, the Japanese owner of the motorcycle, who lost three family members in the "Great East Japan Earthquake", has decided that the motorcycle shall go to the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee to serve as a memorial to those who lost their lives as a result of the natural disaster.
