In case you haven't heard of it, Riding the Americas means riding up to Alaska (usually Prudhoe Bay) and then south to Ushuaia, in Argentina, or the other way if you are so inclined.

I am riding a 1981 Yamaha sr250. It was cheap, is very simple, and even loaded will still do better than 70mph, which is fast enough (especially once I got south of Mexico and roads became more notional).

I left Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 21st, the summer solstice. I wandered around the USA for a while before heading north.
There is, of course, a blog, which is pretty long now. But I know winter is closing in up north (I am in Ecuador now. In the mountains, but everything is still green) so it gives you all something to read.
