    Tracy Martin recommended it in Motorcycle Consumer News and I figured for $20, what the hell. I had some decent cramping on my 500 mile trip home from Deals Gap and would have liked to have been able take my right hand off the throttle occasionally.

    Obviously this is not a cruise control but I'm hoping that for a quick 20 or 30 second stint I'll be able to use it on roads like 81. We'll see...

    Vista cruise has been around forever now, but I used one of these on my old Goldwing with great success:

    Thanks Duncan. I looked at those too but wasn't sure which one to get because they make several models and I have installed grip heaters that might interfere with that. I have also been looking at real electronic cruise control units but I just don't have the energy to do the installation at this point. Eventually it will probably come to that though.
