Out of the city, our first coffee stop. So nice to have the chase van. Toss the helmet and jacket in it when you go in to eat, don’t have to lug it around with you. 

Picking up our bikes this morning in Barcelona. It was a 3 minute walk to the shop. Davíd is our road guide, Mikel shuttles our luggage in the chase van. So nice!

We have met as a group. Our guides are Mikel and David. Our riding companions are Steve, Mike, and Sharon. Small group, all Americans.  

Barcelona is a city of motorcycles.  There are more here than Paris or Rome as the climate is ideal for them year round. They stretch for miles and miles along the side streets. 

A nice day in Barcelona. We started at the beach, took a cable car to the mountaintop castle which guards the port, then had lunch in the harbor. Tonight the group and guides arrive.
