srabinowitz75 given my experience this weekend with brake markers and our discussion about it, I did a google search for race track brake markers.  I could not find a single image that showed the brake markers being on the inside of the track.  Each one showed them on the side of the track that is closest to the racing line in the braking zone.

As I mentioned, every other track I've been to has always had the markers close to the line.  Which makes sense, because you look to your marker and then just before you get to it, you look to your turn in point, which is on the same side of the track.  It is awkward to be looking across the track as you approach the braking zone.

I think I might send Sam a note and just make a suggestion that he move them to the other side of the track.

They're probably on the left here because on the right are pit in and out for when running clockwise. Hard to put a brake marker in pavement.

I wonder if we could get a bunch of riders to donate to cover the coat if Sam would use them.

Five of them would be $1200, so ~24 riders at $50 each would do it.

I'll ask Roger for Sam's contact info, and/or look for him on FB and ask him.
