Curious if anyone has installed an aftermarket tire pressure monitoring system, and what the pros and cons are.

Interesting, I'd not looked at aftermarket (mine came with the bike). But I can certainly recommend them in general. I was warned of my recent flat and was able to safely stop *before* I lost all the air in my rear tire.
